About Our Club
Welcome to the home page of the 46th & Vincennes Block Club. We are in the Bronzeville Neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago.
We are centered on the garden occupying the lots of 427-435 E. 46th Street (though you can simply input 433 E. 46th Street for GPS purposes).
This includes the streets of 46th Street, 46th Place, and 45th Place, between King Drive and Vincennes. However, we also welcome participation of other nearby neighbors and alumni.
Check out our pages to find out more about us, what we do, and when we do it.
We are a diverse block, with immigrants and direct parentage from countries across the globe such as Guyana, Belize, Ghana, Nigeria, Indonesia and much more. We also have a strong African American heritage. One of our homes was one of the first owned by African Americans, and that began 100 years ago. We have new construction nestled among other historic buildings.
We are active on Facebook! as well as Instagram and Tik Tok. E-mail us to get on our neighborhood GroupMe
